It appears that this capital city has 2 such stores in the harbour area - Home-Garden store and another one. I will have 2 hours before the departure of mailboat to Exumas, and looking for plain old propane in small 1 lb cartridges. Can be either green Coleman, size of a loaf of bread (used for screw-on stoves or BBQ), or blue or red tanks size of a vine bottle (these are for welding torch, same thread and same gas). Not looking for fancier cartridges like MSR. Wouldn't like to have to use my alcohol stove - slow and too much bulk of fuel, but this is plan B, easier to find than propane. There is also a plan C, of course, (70% rubbing alcohol) and plan D (smoke grenade called Sierra Zipp stove, wood-burning pot-sooting gizmo). But hopefully I'll find a propane. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). G'Day Paddlewise, Has anyone tried the ICOM VHF radio "IC-M33". I'd be interested in opinions on reliability and ease of use. All the best, PeterO *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
