I have paddled that model many times. If I look at the water while paddling it I want to turn over. It seems to have a rather round bottom. I think that contributes to its poor secondary stability. As a point of reference I have owned a Pintail and and Avocet. I loved both of those boats by Valley. I recently took a Nordkapp out in lumpy water and thought it was fun and playful but you better pay attention until you get used to it. It was a nice boat overall.
