Kayakers, Thursday evening I went looking for blue whales off Newport Beach in Southern California. I didn't find any blues, but a large pod of common dolphin found me and repeated approached my kayak within feet. I caught it all on video too. In over ten years of kayaking, I never had a dolphin encounter like this.
