[Paddlewise] Kayak For a Cure | Victoria

For those paddlers in the Victoria/lower Vancouver Island area (or those who
would like to be) the first annual Kayak For a Cure "Victoria" takes place on
August 10th of this year.  Kayak For a Cure Victoria is a fundraiser for the
Canadian Cancer Society where paddlers sign up to paddle and help raise
donations for research into cures and treatments for cancer.

100% of the money's donated will go to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Kayak For a Cure Victoria is looking for paddlers to sign up and join us .The
paddle starts at Verdier Park in Brentwood Bay (next to the Brentwood Bay
ferry terminal) and continues on down Saanich Inlet to the Goldstream
Boathouse area and back, approx. 14 mile round trip. There will be rest stops
and a lunch break along the way.  At the end of the paddle we'll hold a BBQ in
the park for all the participants and volunteers.
