I don't have pictures but years ago I stored WW kayaks on the wall of the garage. Two Big nails into the studs for either end. Then a long strip of lawn chair plastic webbing (your choide of pattern) with an eyelet punched into each end. Eyelets go over nails, On one end, both eyelets for that ribbon. Slide nose of kayak into the loop, pick up the end of the ribbon for the other side, wrap over that kayak end, hang on its nail. Boat stays sideways nicely and out of the way (to the depth of the boat). Removal is easy -- hold the end of the boat and slide it out of its loop.
