Funny how that works. I just had a chat with a guy whose wife finished med school and divorced him ten years ago. He has never gotten over it. She's remarried (another doc) and has 3 kids and it eats at him. I advised him to find something physical and obsess over it. Kayaking, bicycling, x/c skiing... anything that's just him against himself and work it all out. After ten years of living within himself, he needs something to absorb the anger and grief and then give back beauty and challenge. But nothing works as well as paddling for making you concentrate on the here and now.
