[Paddlewise] River and Slalom

This weekend we did something different.



We took a course in river descent and slalom. For us all and the
accompanying wife and children of one guy, there was also a 10 km raft
descent. Andris (our instructor) and Gustavo (16) my son went on a kayak,
and all others on the raft.



I had a chance to take some videos  on the second day, of the slalom
session, where  Andres and my son Gustavo practiced.

That part of the course was too much for me, and I just sat and watched. The
previous day I was happy doing crossings and I capsized 4 times and rolled
in each. Doing the crossings and still pass with different routines through
the doors exceeds my actual capacity.

Seems like Ill have to switch sport from sea kayaker to father promoting my
sons progress on the sport.
