Well folks I am about to take off tomorrow (Sunday)on what may be my longest and wildest trip yet. I heading to Coronation Island which is south of Kuiu Island in southeast Alaska. If weather allows (and that is a big if) I should cover about 225 miles in about three weeks. I have planned in several bad weather days into that schedule. It has been a cool summer here with lots of pesky low pressure systems blowing in. As usual I will be solo but I am comfortable with that, plus I am heading into the summer fishing grounds where there will be plenty of fishing boats if I need assistance. My wife will be tracking me with my SPOT personal satellite tracker. Hopefully the system will work. So I will check back in when I return.
