I've put in at Larrabee (and _donated_ my $5). I try and combine a
trip to Dyson's for materials so I can get double duty on my gas. I'm
taking next week off and will probably spend a day or two on Camano
Island. I've never paddled there before. Perhaps at the State park
and/or Port Susan side.

An aside - this may or may not "work". There is a new chat client
called Talkinator. You can check it out at my website,

http://paddleandoar.com

It is a chat room called Kayaker. There is no registration, and
anyone can take the line of code for the Kayaker chat room and put it
on their site. (Or go to my site to use it). I won't go into any
further details. It's kind of an experimental thing and anyone who is
interested can learn more about it. But if you are a chat junkie (I
am) then feel free to give it a spin.

Cheers,

Paul Montgomery

Paul... while you're at Camano - and especially if you're on the western
shore of Camano - paddle across the water and into Holmes Harbor on Whidbey
Island. There is a cool island right at the tip of the peninsula that
extends north from Freeland. You can also paddle down the eastern side of
Whidbey Island to Langley which has a small harbor and a sand beach right in
town. Langley is a cool town with lots of shops and flowers and history. Our
island lot is only 3 miles north of Freeland on the eastern shore of Holmes
Harbor (Beverly Beach).
