Hey, Doug!
How are your fundraising efforts going for the Canadian Cancer
Society? I checked your link (referenced below) and it looks as if you are not well
supported.
Does it make a difference if the dollars pledged are from the US? Do
you just convert to Canadian dollars?
And please, tell us once again what the kayak route is and what you are
doing!

Thanks!
Pam in Washington State (now rolling, though not well)

Pam,
I was hoping I could distribute the request at work but HR won't allow it, so
that was going to be my main source of pledge support. Not sure about the US
funds.

The paddle is a small, local event. Beginners are welcome even. Gordin Warner
leaves tomorrow for his epic fund raiser to the Isle of Mann. The Paddle For A
Cure folks parted ways with Gordin, amicably, as his trip was a little more
involved...

Our route is simply down Saanich Inlet from Brentwood Bay - nothing too
rigorous or remotely involved.

I guess I'm supposed to email support request to my Outlook Express folder
contacts. I'd give more myself but have a new financal controler (my spouse).
We are on a tight budget now. I think Craig's wife might want to do the same
thing with Craig. lol - as Craig would say.

Still, any support is appreciated, internationally or otherwise.

I'll update later.

BTW, cancer research and medical advances here in western Canada are at an
international level of research and care.

Doug Lloyd
