Cary - there is a group up in Brevard, think they are called Waveback Watcher... they watch for the newly hatched turtles that get washed back onto shore. May want to consider contacting them.
May want to try the local environmental folks up there too they may know how to contact the group or know of other groups.

Yeah Jim, I know. There's something about this painting that makes me want
to help find it it's rightful home. Hopefully in some public place where
