Did they put the coating right over the gelcoat???

-----Original Message-----

I'm another some body on West Coast Paddlers who had the pick up truck
coating put on.

Mine's still holding up fine after more than a year. But maybe I'm just a
lightweight paddler; I don't do a lot of rock gardening.

If you go for this, and the place gives you a choice between "slick" and
"sticky" finishes, take the "slick" so it won't hang up on the beach during
launches and landings.

Cheers,

Philip
