She is wearing a Tuilik, a traditional Inuit garment which originally is
made of seal skin. Ours are neoprene. It seals around the face and wrists.
The garment hangs down to your knees and ties around the combing of the
cockpit. No pfd is worn as the air trapped inside aids floatation. You must
roll up in this get up as the fitting of the boats with the tight Masik
across the thighs makes a wet exit a long term affair.
