Hi Peter, Regarding Kamals, I was always more interested in taking two bearings at cross angles than in determining distance off by estimated height. Have you made yourself a stick? Has anyone down under caught Greenland Fever ? The diagnosis is to note if the victim seems to prefer capsizing/rolling up in every conceivable manner for hours at a time instead of actually paddling off somewhere. At least, those with immunity to the fever say this is so! This does seem to be the case! I don't paddle much with my GP, but when I'm going out to practice rolling I always take it. It seems to me a GP is less meant for paddling and rather more useful for underwater baton twirling! Mark Sanders -----Original Message----- Have you made yourself a stick?
