The things that bothers me a little is when someone innocently asks "How many boats do you have?" and after a few seconds of my vacant stare in return follows up with "Hello? I asked you how many boats you have?" Then I have to say "Wait a minute, I'm counting," which of course makes me lose count. And I never know whether to count the 1972 Munich Olympic slalom boat, 'cause it doesn't get paddled, or the three boats our friend boards at our house.
