Any kayak can surf but unless you want to do spins and such the international class surf kayaks like that are the quickest and sportiest kayaks on a breaker. I sure wish Washington Coast breakers broke like that and didn't mostly close out all at once. Does anyone know if there was/is a Surf Pummel at Lapush this winter? For those who want to do 360's on a wave there are some pretty sporty surf shoes that also surf pretty well. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
