We have yellow Day-Glo tape on one blade of our paddles, and while this is highly visible at dusk, fog, or dawn, it doesn't do much good the rest of the time. We used sign vinyl, and it has as yet not shown any tendency to fall off. There are reflective variants available, too, as used on some ambulances. Haven't tried that on the paddles, yet, but I've used it on the inside of our car's rear hatch, and along the inner edges of the car-doors, to avoid being run over when getting out of the car on the highway, et cetera, if need be! Highly effective under head-lamp illumination, and as it isn't normally exposed to day-light it will last as long as the car! But has to be kept clean, as otherwise it does little good! The day-glo will be dulled over time, of course, as any paint, but faster. Tord -- Be Yourself _at_ mail.com!
