I seem to muddled things a bit, when writing about Chillcheater's Aquatherm sets. Chillcheater doesn't recommend using a Aquatherm set under your dry suit, but to complement your functioning dry suit with a transpire fleece set under it. My error! Chillcheater do replace latex gaskets on your old dry suit with Aquatherm stuff, which doesn't age like latex, if you want to. The only problem I've had with my Aquatherm stuff is tiny punctures from sharp objects on our kayak, like exposed screw heads. These holes lets water seep through, which is annoying. So in my book an outer wear & tear garment is recommended - say an old Gortex rain gear set, or a past its prime dry suit, minus its gaskets/seals, if they are failing. Undergraments should be carried, of course, as others here have detailed. Tord -- Be Yourself _at_ mail.com!
