Maybe there is flag for PFDs. I will point out that the amount of junk mail posted to an address is not correlated to the amount of legitimate email. Junk mail keeps on coming regardless of legitimate emails. I don't think there is much point in trying to list what causes a filter to kick in. We can all imagine the key words that might be flagged. We have all seen them in our own in boxes. Posting a list would only provide a road map to junk mailers. What becomes tricky is the fact that some perfectly legitimate words and phrases contain snippets that may be flagged. As a result, an increase in legitimate email will cause an increase in email flagged for moderation, just due to the laws of probability. Busy days on Paddlewise will be busy days for Kirk. I assume Kirk has better things to do with his life than make sure a paddling discussion group has instant access to all the email we send to it. It is very likely that some legitimate email will get lost. If you have ever looked through a list of messages after a week and tried to pick out the good from the bad, you have an idea of what is involved and should realize that mistakes are inevitable. I would suggest that none of us have anything quite so important to say that it simply has to make it to the list. If you think you wrote something particularly profound and it seems to have gotten lost in the bit bucket, send it again. I sincerely doubt Kirk is intentionally censoring anyone. For what its worth, all paddlewise posts that come into my computer automatically get put into my "Paddlewise" folder, if I haven't looked at my email for several days I will often select all the emails in that folder and delete them without reading because I don't have the time. In the triage of managing my flow of email Paddlewise and other email list have a low priority. I'm sure I'm not alone in this practice. So even if Kirk had a flawless system, your message may not get read.
