There was no one in the drivers seat. The keys where in the ignition so I drove back to where I thought Juarez should be, eventually found my own car and left Mexico never to return for 30 years. Sorry I digressed there a little, but there was a point, fearing I might be on the verge of a similar experience, I retired from the lake and went directly to a pub where I confirmed my fears.
