Hello to all! Just wanted to let all you fine people know that I have a Mariner Sprite, a Necky Arluk II (kevlar) and two wooden kayaks, a Pygmy Boats Arctic Tern 17 foot and a GoldenEye for sale. I have them all posted on the Seattle Craigslist site. So far I've had two calls on the Sprite, both people actually looking for a Mariner Express! That's convoluted thinking, but I was happy to communicate with them. One turned out to be the fellow who spotted Craig's Mariner Escape for sale on Craigslist by the person who stole, uhh, liberated it from his property on Whidbey Island. The other has a Mariner Max and is looking for an Express, too. I'm amazed at how small the kayaking community is in many ways, and how helpful! Last weekend I was at a training session for the (let's see if I can say this correctly) the ACA Level Two Coastal Instructor certification. I ended up staying in someones home, whom I had not previously met, and was treated very well (I skipped the party, though). May I say to the rest of you I am proud to be a member of this group of genuinely nice people. Thanks for all your help now and in the future!
