We had a houseful of kids, grandkids, neighbors and friends here and we all sat out and watched the fireworks, the brush fires, and the parade of boats going past. It would have been worth your life to kayak out there after dark last night. One group of what I can only assume were drunks were in an unlighted boat... they made up for not having lights by (illegallyl) using it as a fireworks barrage. We were kinda hoping it would just blow up but no luck there. They competed with the city's display and were still firing off mortars as they putted past us on their way home.
