I spent the weekend kayaking and camping at Santa Cruz Island out by Vetura. It got quite chilly and I wished I'd packed some warmer gear. Amazing how selective global warming seems to be! Excuse me, I should say "climate change"! Mark -----Original Message----- Here in Moses Lake we are *never* warmer than Seattle during the summer. In fact it's generally a 15 to 20 degree (F) gap with us on the losing (higher) end. Today our high temp was 92F while Seattle hit a high of 102F!! I knew that global warming was going to hit some time; I was just wishing it would hit in January.
