G'Day, Thanks to everyone for all the advice on prescription sunglasses. I'm going to try tinted prescription bifocals as well as a combination of ordinary prescription glasses and a cheap pair of large polarised glasses to wear over them just to experiment with the LCD displays of my VHF and GPS. Its odd but after six months of spreading all my gear over the water when wiped out in the surf , I changed to keepng glasses on with a strong cord and tied on hat that keeps eveything together even when dumped in the surf. Subsequently never lost a pair of sun glasses.
