However, on the plus side, it's a very busy channel and the watch is well aware of the risks so they probably station an AB forward with a radio plus they have their foghorn going plus they are talking to VTS. If Duane has his VHF on he can hear the VTS traffic information and tell them when he's in the traffic lanes.
