The Fishermans Wife is Pacific Grove, CA (Monterey) is a great place to eat.
 
When in Monterey Bay ...paddle and paddle Elkhorn Slough

Bought one of my boats from Monterey Bay Kayaks. Good folks.
That should give you two days of paddling.
