Just in case Ken or Mark don't still have posting privileges to
Paddlewise, here is an event they are putting together on Gulf Coast
Texas. This is one of the absolute best times of the year to visit here
and if you can get this far for a weekend event, it's a fun one:

Our Corpus Christi Kayak Club (about 100 members) will host a Corpus
Christi Paddlefest at IB Magee Beach Park (Fri thru Sun Nov 6-8 1990).
We will invite kayakers from 18 other Gulf kayak clubs to join us for
the 3 days. We can camp on the beach for $12/night with up to 8 people
and 2 cars per site. There could be anywhere from 20 to 60 kayakers
attending. Links to pictures of past events we have held in previous
years is at the bottom.

Please let me know as soon as possible (1) if you plan to attend, and
(2) if you would be available to help out with the event. Ken Johnson
