Doug.... I have to tell you that you are an amazing person. I've admired you for years and not just for your kayak exploits but for your integrity and honesty and your willingness to take a hit in order to pass along important information that may save lives. Not everyone is up to that, you know. I know your life is in the midst of turmoil right now but you've faced turmoil before and bore it well. For some reason I feel confident that you'll pull through this latest problem too. But I want you to know, just from me to you, that I feel better knowing you are around. And I'm not alone in that, either. My thoughts and prayers are with you at least once every day. A special Happy New Year to you and your family.
