Apropos to this thread (and the linked story below) I was called to the
office of one of my clients at a grain elevator in Ephrata (the County
Seat... and where the jail is located) yesterday. They had lost their
internet connection and since their business runs a VPN to a dozen other
grain elevators across about 200 miles of territory they were pretty excited
about getting it back. (Turned out to be the WAN network port that had gone
south... very unusual... but I digress.)

And now for the rrrrest of the storrrry.....

While I was chatting with the gal who runs the office there she pointed to
the newspaper article (link below) and mentioned that the truck pictured
(parked in a precarious place on a hillside) was theirs and had been stolen
by the guy to whom the deputy eventually threw the PFD. LOL.
