I've done two trips with Azra, Arizona Raft Adventures and recommend
them highly. Ours were chartered kayak trips but at the end of the day
you are still the customer and they really treat you well. The common
denominator to each trip was the quality of guides. Only one guide was
common to the first and second trips and she's awesome. However, all
the guides were excellent in their knowledge of the canyon, food making
and general cameradery. Azra has a very high quality reputation, even
among the competing firms. A trip through the Canyon is a game changer,
however you do it. The whitewater is great, the hiking great, the
scenery simply breathtaking.

Cheers,

Does anyone know first or second hand if any of these companies would
be especially good for a family trip down the Grand Canyon? Prefer to
not be in a motorized craft.... I have three adolescent boys and me.

Private responses would perhaps be most appropriate.... and are
welcome.

thanks for any suggestions...
