Maybe, after 50 years of surfing, you get a better perspective on things.
I'm not sure I'd stay in the water for another hour after having a tiger
shark take a bite out of my surfboard though.

I wonder if they'd like kayaks with that soft, creamy filling inside the
crunchy outside.

Not shark related but there are some biologists who claim that Orcas (Killer
Whales) come in two different species: homebodies and itinerant bullies. The
homebodies stick around an area, eat mostly salmon, and ignore kayakers. The
itinerant bullies eat mostly seals and other whales. There is almost no
contact between the two (so they say). I'm thinking that I might want to
only paddle around the salmon-eaters. We should make the bullies carry
warning signs. :D
