Hi- Greetings from the outer Hebrides! I've been lurking a while on Paddlewise after a few years away from it... Those clackey things are called bones. See 'Bones(instrument)'on Wikipedia. Widely available, though a lot more expensive than when I got mine many years ago. Come over for a wee paddle if you're ever in the neighborhood, anybody. I still have my 2 old K-Lights.
