Let me preface this by saying that I am a WUSS when it comes to cold water. I was like this when I was fat and I still am. If the water temperature is around 65 deg F or colder and the air isn't so hot that I'd die of heat stroke, I usually wear a breathable drysuit and underneath it I wear anything from Polartec 200 on really cold days, to some lightweight polypro long underwear that I bought at REI. If it's really too warm for the drysuit, I usually am wearing a pair of shorts and a rashguard. Paddle jacket or drytop is usually worn or in the day hatch. Hope that helps, Steve Holtzman *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
