" Greetings, from mid-England - and with no rain :-). On the face of it, could this simply be a combination of shock (or severe surprise :-) ) and unfamiliar exercise? Some novice paddlers have talked to me of sleeping well and deeply without having had the swim .. and after less than an hour's paddling on the river ..
