I think that medical waste stuff is a thing of the past.  The worst you'll
probably encounter are jellyfish and the dreaded greenhead flies.  The best
places with offshore breaks are Corsen's Inlet and Sea Isle City, both in
South Jersey. There are lots of place further with shore break, like Belmar.
