My wife and I just spent a couple days at a U.S. Forest cabin in Thomas bay North East of Petersburg Alaska. While reading through the log book I found the following entry. Quite an adventurer. July 13, 1983 Arrive 3pm by kayak (inflatable Semperit 12' Dolphin). Left Skagway June 22: camped on shore each night. This is the first F.S. cabin on the route. Sure enjoy 4 walls, a stove and a table. Leaving Friday am, July 14. Couldn't carry out all the food from previous party.
