Cool video though and they do look like they're having fun. A dolphin rescue guy was interviewed on NPR a few days ago. He was once the primary dolphin catcher for Sea World and the trainer for the "Flipper" TV series and movies. He says that the primary dolphin used on "Flipper" committed suicide by just not breathing after being depressed. I know that I was inside Sea World years ago and was splashed by a captive dolphin that a trainer told me, "hated people". Yet, still... I enjoy going to a zoo as long as it's kept well (Seattle's) and especially the wild animal parks you have to drive through. And the Monterrey Bay Aquarium is amazing. But then, after a visit to the aquarium I can launch my kayak by the marina and then paddle through the kelp forest tips and enjoy watching a live zoo that doesn't seem to mind me being there. Even better than a man-made zoo but certainly not available to everyone. Thanks for the link, Matt. If I were a captive dolphin, I'd be plotting my escape instead of blowing bubbles. Damn those humans. Bradford R.
