This event is in the first stages of birth. Several Puget Sound paddling groups have gotten together and decided to put on a "gathering" at Owens Beach in Tacoma on October 23rd. Nowhere near as organized as the old Symposium was this is more of a get-together with the opportunity to take a look at some new kayaks (Illusions, Tahe, etc). I am planning to be there unless the passes through the Cascades have early season problems.
