Hello Paddlewisers - It seems I will unexpectedly find myself in Houston in early March - and have a few days free for paddling. Since I've not been there in 20+ years, and never paddled the 'North Gulf' at all --- does anyone have some tips/favorite destinations for a short multi-day paddle not too far from Houston / Katy?? All input greatly appreciated - including the availability of suitable gear since I may not be able to bring along a kayak. TIA!
