Just saw this on the local paper this morning. http://www.newsobserver.com/2011/01/30/957672/rescue-workers-search-for-kayak er.html A kayaker is missing on a lake north of Raleigh, NC. A man was heard calling for help by someone at a boat ramp. A kayak has been found but no body or man. Saturday and Sunday the air temperatures were in the upper 50's to maybe mid 60s. Prior to this weekend air temps have usually been in the 30's-40's. The previous weekend barely got to 34 as a high. Last week there was ice on the lake, ponds, and creeks near me. I live an hour or so south of Falls Lakes where this incident happened.
