Nick, I'm not really sure what you mean by not "casting the first stone". One of the major objectives of the Paddlewise list has always been paddling wisely! Thus the very name of this list. Part of paddling wisely is discovering what isn't wise. That means that sometimes we need be able to analyze situations, find mistakes, and point them out. I don't quite know what you meant, but it doesn't sound right to me. I do agree that we all make mistakes sometimes, and sometimes seriously, but we cannot let that keep us from discussing - and even condemning - unwise paddling! That, too, would be unwise.
