G'day,

Well said Doug, Paul's 'The DreamTime Voyage' has become something of a pilot book for kayakers paddling the remote Australian coast. A reprint could mean no longer needing to lend my copy to local expeditioners. Can't complain though as they tell wonderfully eloquent accounts of their travels, though not often with the detail that Paul achieved.

Something I've been doing recently is reading these kind of accounts into voice recordings for my vision impaired mother in law who is fascinated by adventures of all sorts but kayaking in particular. It always puzzles me that people are so taken with written stories and miss the magic of a story read aloud! Just think what a great radio serial Dark Side of the Wave or 'The Dreamtime Voyage' would make!

All the best, PeterO

To all,

Paul's "The DreamTime Voyage" has been reprinted and Paul has copies for
sale. What he would like to do is find a way to lower the shipping costs
into North America and Europe which are significant. But you can actually
order both hard and soft cover versions from him right now.

I'd certainly be interested if there was an electronic version made
available. I can imagine what the cost of shipping a hardcopy from NZ
would be, however, and I just can't justify it.

I know someone had suggested the Kindle format, but even a PDF file on
a CD would be better (as far as shipping costs go) than hardcopy.

Of course, if there was a N. American distributor, I love the look and
feel of a real book in my hands....
