Video footage is graphic, horrific, and fascinating to watch at the same time. The giant whirlpool looked like it'd be an epic paddle if you were caught out there. Can't imagine the level of suffering and hardship and displacement and disruption to lives, even if the full scale of damage hasn't been realized yet. A lot of people live there is a small area. Hope the Pacific west coast stays free of a significant seismic event for a few more centuries. Hell of a planet. Doug I watched some of the news and video early Friday morning and the damage is staggering, and the video is graphic terror. No place for a human beings.
