DL G'day, Not quite kayaking although it puts me in mind of my friend Stuart whose last major trip o/s was to Antarctica and who has a very direct experience of extreme winds over there. He's kayaking around Australia at the moment checking out as much as he can of the sights and people on the way. Here's another Expeditioner, Alice Giles.
