That's an interesting point, Peter. I hadn't thought about a rising water
table and salinity resulting from the removal of thirsty trees; but it does
make sense.

One of the things I love when I travel to Southern California is the smell
of eucalyptus oil from the trees. It's a lovely smell. I wish we had them
here. But their explosive nature when set afire is scary stuff!!!
