Hi folks,

I've been a Mac user for some time, but recently my wife's son came home (he lives in Thailand for the moment), and he's a computer expert (makes a very decent living from being that), and he introduced us to Plex!

So now the LED TV is just another display - actually quite amazing!

Plex runs on our PCs as well, and probably on our Linux computers, too, though haven't tried mine!

Anyway, with Plex you can use the your iPhone, Android, or iPAd, to check your pictures you have stored in your PC, or Mac. Did I say: Amazing!

To install it on your iPhone (I have none), or your iPad, it cost you a few dollars, while it doesn't cost nothing to install it on a Mac, or PC!

The nice part is that you can then can look at your picture, movies, whatever, on your TV. Truely amazing!

And you can subscribe to various Podcast, TV channels, too!

Before this I've tried a few similar programs, like XMBC, but this one impresses me the most!

Back to paddling ...

As a computer professional and network engineer I can say truthfully that I
aspire to one day have all the toys that Tord and his wife (who drive tour
buses) have. :P

Craig :)

Oops! It should have been paddle-related!

My wife's daughter just complained about her mother not answer her mails! It was two years ago she opended her mail.com account ...

And it isn't tour buses, it's city buses, into the thick of things :-)! Just like me! Last week we had attacks by youth with green lasers, so a lot of lines were close down, and then we had a soccer match between IFK GC6teborg and AIK, a infamous team from Stockholm, which resulted in soccer riots downtown! So a lot of lines were closed down, over-night. But peace is reigning, since then!

ANOTHER SUBJECT:

A nice trick, I've recently learned about, is stacking, a digtal compact ontop of a DSLR: this way you can take both video and stills in one go!
