I'll go one step further: avoid freemail providers if you can. There are serious issues with the quality of services from Yahoo and Hotmail (and have been for a decade), AOL dismissed its entire senior postmaster team last year, and Google seems much more focused on pushing its social network initiatives than dealing with spam/phishing conducting from and via its services. Remember, you are NOT the customer of these operations: you are the product. You'll likely do much better with an inexpensive but capably-managed email account elsewhere. ---rsk *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
