That must have been for some sort of photo shoot... when she launched there was a second photographer right down on the beach shooting down on her. I wonder if she was a model. Luckily for her she landed in the rocks going straight ahead; which says something for the kayak in addition to it surviving what would probably pulverize my f/g kayaks. PFDs must be totally optional nowadays. I just found out the woman in the video is a member of the Mega Surf Kayak Team and was at the Worlds held in North Carolina, USA. This info came from a member of the US Mens East Coast Surf Kayak Team.
