Sounds like the "bar" was raised, huh? Doug We had a huge spike in kayak-related activity here in Portland about a month ago. The board of directors of the local kayak club decided to move the monthly meetings from the old site ( a church) to the new site ( a tavern). This created a huge bruhaha and dust-up among the members. E-mails were flying like April rain, debating which location was best. Nobody was lynched, but It was the most intense off-the-water kayak experience I have ever witnessed. And the drama continues.
