Corpus Christi is a fantastic place to paddle (see write upbs at www.paddling.net/places/showReport.html?54 and the article attached. And it just so happens that we are having our 9th annual Corpus Christi Paddlefest 2012 on the last weekend in September (9/28-30/2012). It is going to be BIG. We already have 80 people signed up to attend, and the event is still 3 months away. Ten certified instructors offering free or almost free instruction, free tours, and very inexpensive camping right on the beach where you can launch you kayak right into the surf. We will have 3 kayak distributors with new kayaks to show and demo. And of course our famous Texas Beach BBQ dinner Saturday night with special music and campfire on the beach.
